Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, presided over the 1st MOF Top Executive Meeting for 2013, to received a brief summary of the operation of the Ministry of Finance for the fiscal year of 2013 (1st Quarter) and the goal of operation as of January – February 2013 of the government agencies under the Ministry of Finance, and the inspection result of MOF Inspector General, at Vayupak 1 Meeting Room, Ministry of Finance, February 13 2013.

Mr. Somchai Pulsawas, the director general of the Excise Department, announced the suppression result of first four months for the fiscal year of 2013 (October 2012 – January 2013), that the Excise Department arrested the offenders in total of 13,913 cases, worth of the damage is 149.50 million baht, and the damages under the court order is 277,000 baht, the Excise Tax collection for the first four months is 157,045.45 million baht, higher than last year at 41.36% or 45,949.47 million baht, and higher than the expectation of 21,168.69 million baht or 15.58%, at Excise Auditorium, the Excise Department, February 8 2013.
